PRIVATE SESSIONS | $90/HOUR 

For the best one-on-one experience possible, each client receives their own unique program specific to their goals and restrictions. Some of the perks of a private session over a semi-private session are that this ensures you have the trainer’s undivided attention at all times, thus you will always have proper form, be challenged and encouraged as much as necessary, and have a lot of one-on-one time to ask any questions. This type of session is perfect for anyone who is newly postpartum or new to weight lifting/working out and wants to do a few private sessions before jumping into the semi-private training atmosphere!

Personal training at a fraction of the cost! Time will be shared with no more than 2 other women at any given time. Savanna will be writing your own individual workout program for you to do and will help teach and ensure proper form, adapt as needed to any injuries or health concerns, as well as adapt the program as your goals change or as you progress.

Why Semi Private training over a group fitness class like Orangetheory?

Great question! With a group fitness class, you are showing up and doing whatever workout the trainer or corporation made up for the day. Yes, there are some absolutely great workouts in group fitness classes. But the focus is more on moving quickly, getting sweaty and burning the most calories possible in that 45-60 minute period. Diet culture has fooled us into thinking this is the best way to lose weight or “tone up”, but unfortunately, it’s not.

Wait, what’s the best way to lose weight then?!

As far as fitness alone goes - you’ll want to build lean muscle mass. How do we do this? By performing compound lifts, taking rest periods between exercises and rest days throughout the week, following a program consistently for a few weeks at a time (before completely switching up the compound lifts you’re doing), and NOT chasing the calorie burn but instead working to improve your form and technique in each and every exercise. This, in addition to focusing on other very important (arguably more important than fitness) lifestyle factors like nutrition, sleep, stress, and more.

Semi Private personal training is so effective AND so much fun because not only do you get the benefits of personal training (such as: an individual program, much more attention than you would get in a group fitness class, assistance and encouragement from a trainer during your workout, an outside of sessions relationship with a trainer where you can talk about all of those other super important lifestyle factors that could inhibit or progress your results) but you will ALSO enjoy the camaraderie (and maybe even some friendly competition if that's what you're into) of this tight-knit, kind, and inspiring community of Shred Shed clients.


What to expect: You will first fill out a very in depth questionnaire once contacting us. If we find that we would be the right fit for you, our initial (in-person) consult and assessment are completely complementary! We will chat about goals, current routine and any restrictions or barriers to progress.  To begin, I'll perform an initial movement assessment to get an idea of your fitness level and find out a bit more about how you move and where you may need extra attention. After this, we will create a weekly training schedule together (as far as what you should do outside of your actual sessions, and I can even create a custom workout routine for you to perform on your days days alone if you’re interested. Get ready for accountability, direction, and an unlimited amount of support to accomplish all of your goals.
